This is the opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin a life working in baseball.  Ticket sales is the lifeblood of sports teams and as a Seasonal Sales Associate you will learn everything it takes to sell tickets to the community.

You will receive extensive training in group ticket sales and report directly to the Grizzlies Marketing Director.  Once you truly learn how to market tickets you will begin working with schools, churches, little leagues, businesses and civic organizations.    

You will learn the Grizzlies “sell out mentality” of ticket sales and how to sell to large groups in the community.  You will also learn how to service these accounts and work directly with them throughout the season.

Start Date: March 1, 2010.  The Grizzlies are looking to bring in two Seasonal Sales Associates beginning March 1st.

The Grizzlies organization is committed to making our interns an integral and equal part of our operation.  Due to the importance of your role to the team, you will be expected to commit full-time throughout the 2010 season. 

During the time you are an intern, you will experience first-hand all aspects of baseball operations.  The practices of our organization closely resemble those of all minor league teams.  The skills you will acquire will be easily transferable to any sports field in which you desire to work. 

Realistically, this type of internship is not for everyone, only those select individuals who are committed to career success in sport management or related fields. 

Duties Include, but are not limited to: Stadium Operations, Promotions, Ticketing, Concession Management, Merchandising and Management.

Start Date: May 15, 2010.  The Grizzlies are looking to bring in two Operations Interns beginning May 15th.
